The tuition fees vote may have been won but the Lib Dems have exposed their divisions and wounds in the most public way, writes Martin Kettle in the Guardian. In international politics, the New York Times'sPaul Krugman warns that President Obama's defence of his tax-cut deal has given Republicans every reason to believe that they can extract another ransom. Finally, in the Financial Times, Bjørn Lomborg says the key to tackling climate change is to make green energy so cheap that everyone wants it.
