| Anadarko’s Owo Drills More Oil Posted: 14 Sep 2010 10:05 AM PDT Independent oil and gas company, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC) reported promising results at its Owo-1 sidetrack well, confirming the existence of a significant oil accumulation in the region. The company has discovered additional 115 net feet of oil, including 52 net feet of high-quality oil at its Owo-1 sidetrack well, which compliments production at the Owo-1 discovery well.

| Catalyst Acquires FutureScripts Posted: 14 Sep 2010 10:05 AM PDT Expanding its pharmacy benefit management (PBM) solutions, on Monday, Catalyst Health Solutions Inc. (CHSI) announced the purchase of all the PBM units of Independence Blue Cross (IBC) − FutureScripts LLC and FutureScripts Secure LLC − for an all cash transaction of $225 million. Both the entities have also received the regulatory approvals relevant for the deal.

| ACE Group To Buy Jerneh Insurance Posted: 14 Sep 2010 09:35 AM PDT Property and casualty insurer ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE) agreed to acquire Jerneh Insurance Berhad in Malaysia, for a purchase consideration of $200 million, thereby expanding its footprint in Asia . The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010, subject to approval at Jerneh Insurance and other customary closing conditions.

The notes will mature on September 18, 2017, and will have an interest rate of 2.80%. The company originally made plans to issue notes worth $350 million.

(NYSE:TWC), the second largest cable MSO in the U.S. may enter into an agreement with privately-held cable operator Cox Communications, for mutual co-operation of their respective cable systems in California . The cable systems are roughly worth $2 billion and will help both the companies reduce their operating costs such as customer servicing costs. The agreement may also expand to cover more geographic locations.
