Nerve testing devices maker NeuroMetrix (NASDAQ:NURO) reported second-quarter fiscal 2010 net loss per share of 20 cents, in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate, but wider than the year-ago loss of 13 cents. Net loss bloated two and half fold to $4.5 million from $1.8 million a year ago as revenues were hit by the revamp in Medicare reimbursement.

Whirlpool Corporation's (NYSE:WHR) lobbying expenses amounted to $200,000 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2010. Though expenses reduced from $280,000 in the previous quarter, it increased by about $40,000 over the same quarter last year.

Honda Recalls 383,000 Vehicles

Honda Motor Co. (NYSE:HMC) has announced that it would recall 383,000 vehicles sold in the U.S. in order to fix a faulty ignition system that is turning the engine off without being placed in park. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fault increases the possibility for the vehicles to roll away.
