Mortgage Rates Remain At Lowest Levels In 2014

This week mortgage applications increased 2.4% compared to a week earlier, while mortgage rates have remained at some of the lowest rates we've seen this year.

According to Freddie Mac, 30-year fixed-rate mortgages remained as they were last week, at 4.13%. This is much lower than the 4.51% rate we saw last year in July.

15-year fixed-rate mortgages increased to 3.26% this week compared to 3.23% the previous week.
