This week mortgage applications increased 10.3% compared to last week, spurred by the low mortgage rates we've seen the last few weeks.

However, mortgage rates increased for the second week in a row according to Freddie Mac, with all fixed-rate mortgage rates as well as 5-year adjustable mortgage rates rising to similar levels as those we saw a month ago.
