| Mortgage Rates Decrease As Home Prices Rise Posted: 20 Jun 2014 06:50 AM PDT This week mortgage applications decreased 9.2% compared to last week, while according to Freddie Mac, this week almost all mortgage rates decreased faintly, except for 1-year rates, which increased slightly. 30-year fixed-rate mortgages decreased to 4.17% this week compared to 4.2% last week.
