The appointment process of a new BOJ governor and two new deputy governors has temporarily halted the declines in the Japanese Yen, as traders await the outcome of the process. It now looks like the frontrunner, Haruhiko Kuroda, will get the nod. The appointment likely will been seen in a negative light for the Yen, suggesting the exchange rate of the currency could continue to plummet. At this point, it appears that a financial panic of some sort could be needed to … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards

Right now this market feels like early shorts are being squeezed on the upside and many might be getting uncomfortable as this market continues to grind higher. I see this not only in equities where there are not a ton of shorts, but also in the volatility markets where some bears have chosen to play the upside in volatility by buying some VXX or outright … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards

New Uptrend In The Uranium Miners?

Posted: 14 Mar 2013 09:59 AM PDT

A self-proclaimed long-term contrarian, Handwerger targets undervalued sectors with great long-term growth potential — of which the uranium market is a prime example. While other commodities have made significant gains … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards

Posted: 14 Mar 2013 08:00 AM PDT

A few weeks back I described the raising of the minimum wage as a jobs killer.
Readers chimed in and addressed the fact that the real beneficiaries of raising the minimum wage are the unions that often have wage contracts bench marked to the minimum wage and that the raising of this rate is really a Trojan horse.
So the question begs, if raising the minimum wage is in fact a Trojan horse, just how many people might be negatively impacted in terms of losing their job if it were to be raised? … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards
