    South Africa’s central bank held its benchmark repurchase rate steady at 5.0 percent and said a deterioration in the outlook for inflation had limited the bank’s ability to ease its policy.

Latvia Keeps Interest Rate Steady, Sees No Risk To Inflation

    Latvia’s central bank kept its benchmark refinancing rate steady at 2.5 percent, saying there were no risks to price stability in the medium term as economic growth was expected to ease in 2013 even if domestic demand and consumption should rise moderately due to higher incomes.
