Hot Option Plays: Nice Bounce On Low Volume After Hours

Cusick’s Corner 10-15-2012 After Hours
This bounce today is one that has been on light volume, data — China, and better Consumer spending and has not been backed by initial earnings reports which have been either in line or warnings, rather than beats and upbeat forecasts. One earnings announcement that I want to watch is Goldman’s (NYSE:GS) which is due out tomorrow and has an estimated move priced in the options marketplace of ~$3.60/~3% either up or down. Now the underlying has already moved … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Best Mortgage Rates, Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards

Stocks Watchlist For Tuesday, October 16

InterDigital, Inc.(NASDAQ:IDCC) Bought more today. It’s very possible that the pull back is done and the uptrend should now continue. I like to see the CMF positive and rising. CMF “Chaikin Money Flow” is a technical indicator used to determine if a security is under accumulation or distribution. In this case particular case, the CMF shows that the stock is being accumulated. Hopefully, it’s enough to allow the continuation of price surge.

Hot Option Plays: Support Tested Midday

Posted: 15 Oct 2012 11:18 AM PDT

Cusick’s Corner 10-15-2012 Midday
The market was tested early but has rebounded quite nicely into the Midday and start of expiration week. These are critical levels, 1420 on the S&Ps, which needs to be supported so as not to cause any mid-term damage to the uptrend. The Financials, XLF, were under stress early today but have come off their worst levels and this is in spite of in line earnings from heavyweights JPM and WFC (see commentary below). One impressive move today has been the … [visit DailyMarkets.com to read more] or compare Best Mortgage Rates, Credit Card Rewards or Best Credit Cards
