    Sweden’s central bank, the Riksbank, cut its benchmark repurchase rate by 25 basis points to 1.25 percent, a decision that was only expected by few economists, to prevent inflation from falling further as economic growth is being hit by Europe’s recession.

An Asset Inflation Signal

After spending most of the summer in “neutral”, my Asset Inflation-Deflation Trend Model flashed an “asset inflation” signal last week, indicating to switch the model portfolio to a high-beta mix of commodity producers and growth stocks.
