CAT Sells Stake In Logistics Biz. Posted: 11 May 2012 12:02 PM PDT Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) has agreed to sell its 65% stake in its logistics business to private-equity firm Platinum Equity in a deal valued at approximately $750 million. The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2012. |
