(NASDAQ:CRME), recently announced that its partner, Merck (NYSE:MRK), has decided to discontinue the development of an oral formulation of vernakalant. Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) has offloaded its 2.71% equity stake in Shanghai Pudong Development Bank ("SPDB") for an after-tax gain of around $349 million. The stake sale was made though block trade to institutional investors.
