Bear Of The Day: Guess? Inc. (GES)

Posted: 19 Mar 2012 11:00 PM PDT

Guess? Inc.’s (NYSE:GES) fourth quarter and fiscal 2012 earnings missed year-ago earnings by 5.4% and 1.9%, respectively. Severe austerity measures taken by the European government to combat the debt crisis in the region resulted in reduced spending by consumers there.

Same-store sales also declined in the quarter. In … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards

What Republicans Argue When They Have Nothing Left To Say

Posted: 19 Mar 2012 06:01 PM PDT

Republicans are desperate. They can't attack Obama on jobs because the jobs picture is improving.
Their attack on the Administration's rule requiring insurers to cover contraception has backfired, raising hackles even among many Republican women.
Their attack on Obama for raising gas prices has elicited scorn from economists of all persuasions who know oil prices are set in global markets and that demand in the United States has actually fallen.
Their presidential ambitions are being … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards
