Posted: 18 Feb 2012 03:57 PM PST

UT-San Diego — "When you look at the full cost of doing business abroad, U.S. factories can compete on price, delivery and quality. People would be surprised to learn how many things we still manufacture in the U.S.

Many companies have already brought production lines back from foreign lands, breathing new life into long-ailing U.S. factories.”

MP: Note that the “reshoring” of manufacturing production and jobs to the U.S. has been happening naturally due to market forces, without any … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards

Iceland Are Winners And Grinners

Posted: 18 Feb 2012 02:37 PM PST

Here is how a country goes from zero to hero. After all the fear mongers said they would fall off the economic abyss they have now been upgraded by Fitch to BB+. Shares Or Bonds – Which Is A Better Investment?

Posted: 18 Feb 2012 09:52 AM PST

It’s sure been a difficult time of late for stocks amp; shares. Over the last decade, the stock market has returned a feeble 0.6% vs. 3.9% for Gilts (and 1.6% for corporate bonds) and bonds have now matched or bettered stock returns over more than 30 years!
In light of this, there has been a lot of questioning recently about the relative attractiveness of shares versus bonds. Some suggest that investors should allocate entirely to bonds, not just because bonds are safer, but because they … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards
