Hot Option Plays: Support Challenged

Cusick’s Corner
The overall trend in today’s market is down, every bounce up is being met with selling and now into the Midday, the bids are sitting on the sideline. The shorts are bearing down and I want to keep my eye on the Euro Currency, especially with rates being cut and meetings happening. As I have stated in other Corners, the Euro is my canary in the coalmine. Cusick’s Corner
Confusion. While I was just doing an interview on the floor of the CME, the S&Ps behind me began to pullback hard, 8 points to 1233 and why? I looked up and saw the headline, “Germany shoots down draft.” This would be like telling my kids that this is the law and then also telling them that it was a dumb law (I have a lot of kids so they could turn on me like a hungry mob rather quickly).
