Forex Trading: USD/CNH Broke Hourly Trend Line Support

Posted: 15 Dec 2011 05:35 PM PST

After reaching a high of 6.4193 yesterday, the pair has traded continually lower after risk appetite has slowly reared it's head back into the market. Support was tested around 6.3972 for a short while, but with risk pairs making small gains in recent trade, the dollar has continued to weaken. To the downside we are approaching 6.3885, a resistance level from earlier in the week; further we have the 100 hour moving … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards

Gold (XAU/USD) Seen To Rebound?

Posted: 15 Dec 2011 05:25 PM PST

Just last September 2011, gold (XAU/USD) reached a new all-time high of just above $1,900.00 per ounce. Investors' hedging against capital losses due to the economic risks in Europe and the US was the primary reason of this ascent. This past several days, however, gold has slipped sharply.
After ranging for a while between $1,700 and $1,750 two weeks ago, gold has suddenly slipped past the $1,700 support all the way below $1,600 in just a matter of 3 days. Despite this, it appears … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards

The Foreseeable Future

Posted: 15 Dec 2011 03:48 PM PST

Even if the optimists are right in arguing that the U.S. economy is experiencing some sort of a rebound (that’s a big “if,” by the way, that I don’t agree with), it doesn’t take away from the fact that many other issues are likely to get in the way of a sustainable recovery, now and for the foreseeable future.
Aside from the burgeoning financial crisis in Europe (where an unhappy ending seems assured) and the likely prospect of a severe downturn there and in China as … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards

Hot Option Plays: VIX Reflects Expectations Of Movement

Posted: 15 Dec 2011 03:35 PM PST

Cusick’s Corner
The VIX was right – not much was expected to happen. With the VIX at 25, the market was priced for nothing major to happen in spite of the minefield of headlines, data etc. So this is telling me, barring a headline, that this is a market that is going to be choppy but with little conviction going out of this expiration and into the Christmas holiday. Trade should be quiet into the open tomorrow, but traditionally we see moves into the open and then settle into end of expiration. … [visit site to read more] or compare Credit Card Rewards and Best Credit Cards
