It was in the nick of time for me, since I didn't, or couldn't, dance. In my tiny high school in rural North Georgia, dancing was not considered manly for boys. What little dancing (jitterbugging actually) that was done was done by girls in their bobby socks and multiple crinolines. The boys didn't participate, but they couldn't help take notice. |
