Forexpros – The U.S. dollar remained broadly lower its major counterparts on Wednesday, after Germany's high court overruled an attempt to block the country from participating in euro zone bailouts.

During U.S. morning trade, the greenback was down against the euro, with EUR/USD rising 0.37% to hit 1.4047.

Forexpros – The pound pared gains against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday, pulling back from a daily high amid speculation that a recent string of soft U.K. data may see the Bank of England lean towards a fresh round of monetary stimulus.

GBP/USD pulled away from 1.6040, the daily high, to hit 1.5987 during U.S. morning trade, still up 0.28% on the day.

Cable was likely to find support at 1.5920, Tuesday's low and a two-month low and resistance at 1.6166, Tuesday's high.

Gold Futures Plunge To 6-day Low As Risk Sentiment Improves

Forexpros – Gold futures were down heavily on Wednesday, plunging to a six-day low as a rebound in global equity markets dented the appeal of the precious metal.

On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for October delivery traded at USD1,802.25 a troy ounce during U.S. morning trade, plunging 3.65%.

It earlier fell as much as 4.05% to trade at USD1,792.75 a troy ounce, the lowest price since August 30.
