Forexpros – Gross domestic product in the U.S. rose more-than-expected in the last quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said that GDP rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.3%, from 1.0% in the preceding quarter.
Analysts had expected U.S. gross domestic product to rise 1.2% in the last quarter.

Forexpros – The number of people who filed for unemployment assistance in the U.S. last week fell more-than-expected, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, the U.S. Department of Labor said the number of individuals filing for initial jobless benefits last week fell to a seasonally adjusted 391K, from 428K in the preceding week whose figure was revised up from 423K.
