Building materials and trade supplies group Wolseley (LON:WOS) has agreed to sell Build Center, its building materials distribution business in the UK, to Saint Gobain. It has also entered into exclusive negotiations with Saint Gobain to sell Brossette, its plumbing and heating distribution business in France. The total consideration for the two transactions is £310 million. Shares in Wolseley responded with a 19p gain to 1925p.
