The gold markets rose on Monday as the US still hasn't come to an agreement on the debt limit, and the deficits that the government has been racking up. The $1,600 area has been solidly broken, and as such it should now turn into support. However, the headline risk of a deal could possibly send this market down and quickly. The market is still bullish, but downside risks are out there. If the market falls, look to buy on supportive candles.
