Posted: 25 Jul 2011 09:50 AM PDT Bank failures continue with no end in sight. Last Friday, U.S. regulators closed down three more banks, taking the total number to 58 so far in 2011. Two among the recently failed banks were based in Florida and the other was in Colorado. Looking back, there were 157 bank failures in 2010, 140 in 2009 and 25 in 2008. |
