Crude oil prices dropped after rising earlier on Monday to the highest level since September 2008 at $113.43 a barrel, as news emerged that the African Union made progress in peace talks with Libya.
The situation in Libya is still unclear yet, where despite reports suggesting that peace talks are in progress, Colonel Gaddafi's troops are still attacking rebels, and accordingly, we should still be careful over the outlook for oil, where the upside potential is … [visit site to read more] or compare Best Credit Cards and Balance Transfer Credit Cards

Gold Fundamental Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:46 PM PDT

By CommoditiesMansion.com

Inflation threats in the world pressured investors to continue on saturating the prices of gold to reach a record high of 1,476.30 an ounce, while a big correctional move is expected to ease of pressure on the metal's price.
Gold is expected to drop severely to return and trade near 1,420.0 an ounce and probably extend its drop to 1,400.0 and 1,390.0 as investors take advantage of elevated prices and seek profits. Nonetheless, a failure to breach 1,445.0 an … [visit site to read more] or compare Best Credit Cards and Balance Transfer Credit Cards

USD/JPY Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:45 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

The USD/JPY pair fell today, yet sits above the 84.50 level still, proving the strength of the support level. The pair looks bullish still, and still has an upward bias as long as it holds above this area. A short isn't advised as the central banks are the ones who pushed it up to begin with. A long is possible with a tight stop as long as this level holds.

USD/CAD Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:44 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

The USD/CAD pair has printed a hammer on Friday, after breaking below the 0.96 level. Because of this, the pair looked slightly bullish, but still managed to only muster up a fairly anemic rally today, showing just how bearish this pair really is. Rallies are still to be sold, and should be short in length. A break below 0.95 would push prices much lower.

EUR/USD Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:44 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

The EUR/USD pair had a mildly bearish day today. As the 1.4500 resistance level seems to have pushed buyers back, this pair looks ripe for a small pullback. Even with this small pullback, buying is recommend on a confirmation of support below, perhaps near the 1.4250 break out level. A break below that brings negativity to the market.

GBP/CHF Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:43 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

GBP/CHF formed a very bearish candle today, as it broke towards the 1.48 support area. A break below 1.48 would signal a bigger move below, but as long as it holds – shorting is not an option as it looks to be a fairly important level for the bulls. A break above 1.52 is needed to get overly bullish. A small long could be placed now, with a tight stop in the case of a consolidative move.

USD/CHF Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:42 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

The USD/CHF pair fell today to test the 0.90 area, and is moving lower. The pair looks likely to retest the 0.89 area again as well as the all-time lows. The strong down trend looks to be intact still, and a new bullish move is nowhere to be found. You simply cannot buy this pair, and rallies should be sold until at it breaks higher, and clears at least the 0.93 handle.

EUR/CHF Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:41 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

EUR/CHF had a slightly bearish day today, forming a red candle after Friday's green one. The pair still looks to be stuck between the support area of 1.30, and the resistance area of 1.32. Until we break out of this 200 pip range, longer term trading will be impossible.

EUR/GBP Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:41 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

EUR/GBP smashed through the 0.88 recently, but didn't clear the recent highs. Because of this, the pair looks like it wants to consolidate, and had a doji print for the day today. A buy can't be found until we break above 0.89, and a sell would be hard to justify until we break below the 0.87 level as it would be counter-trend. This pair looks painfully neutral at this point.

EUR/JPY Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:40 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

EUR/JPY shows signs of weakening today as it formed a large red candle. The 120 level below looks to act as support if the market pulls back to it. Look to buy a pullback to 120, if and when it comes. Otherwise, you will have a hard time finding a decent entry level. A short isn't recommended because of recent central bank intervention.

NZD/USD Technical Analysis For April 12, 2011

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 09:40 PM PDT

By ForexMansion.com

The NZD/USD pair had weak day today, breaking back below the 0.78 mark, which of course was previous resistance. A pullback is looking more and more likely as it has risen so drastically over the last couple of weeks. Any weakness leading to shorts at this point should be short-term trades, as this pair has made it known it wants to go upward overall. Support could be found at 0.77 and 0.75 below.

Inflationary Headwinds Increasing

Posted: 11 Apr 2011 08:46 AM PDT

Our indicator constructed from the trends in the CRB Index, gold, and yields on the 10 year Treasury is not extreme but it did rise last week suggesting that inflationary headwinds are increasing for equities.   Another push higher in gold or possibly in Treasury yields would send this indicator into extreme territory.

We last looked at this indicator three weeks ago.  At that time, the indicator had come off its extreme levels, and with prices on the SP500 above their 40 week … [visit site to read more] or compare Best Credit Cards and Balance Transfer Credit Cards
