Allergan Posts Earnings Increase

Allergan, Inc. (NYSE:AGN) reported fourth quarter earnings of 88 cents per share, a penny short of the Zacks Consensus Estimate but towards the higher end of its guidance range. While earnings increased 12.8% from the year-ago quarter, revenues increased 6.9% to $1,309.3 million.
Revenues easily surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1,256 million. Allergan also declared a fourth quarter dividend of 5 cents per share.
