Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) said that its board has approved a 21% increase in the annual dividend rate. This increase brings Occidental's annualized dividend rate to $1.84 per share from the previous rate of $1.52.

Regulators Penalize Zions

Zions Bancorp.'s (NASDAQ:ZION) banking subsidiary, Zions First National Bank was fined $8 million over non-compliance of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the USA Patriot Act on Friday. The fine was levied by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
