Forex Pros – The U.S. dollar was mixed against its major counterparts on Monday, as ongoing concerns over the European sovereign debt crisis and tensions on the Korean peninsula sapped risk appetite.

During European late afternoon trade, the greenback was up against the euro, with EUR/USD tumbling 0.69% to hit 1.3098.

Forex Pros – The pound erased gains against the U.S. dollar on Monday, slipping back towards the daily low as concerns over U.K. exposure to European debt weighed on sterling.

GBP/USD retreated from 1.5577, the daily high, to hit 1.5504 during European late afternoon trade, shedding 0.19%.

Cable was likely to find support at 1.5453, last Friday's low and a 3-month low and resistance at 1.5646, last Friday's high.
