Last week we gave away tickets Power Within event featuring Peter Aceto, CEO of ING Direct and Sir Richard Branson, founder of the . The winners were Michael and Colleen, unfortunately I was unable to go myself. Michael was kind enough to send us a short review of the event:

My friend and I went and enjoyed ourselves. I will say that at times it felt a little more like a commercial for ING Direct & Virgin than a discussion of leadership, but both Aceto and Branson provided their views and insight on what constitutes good leadership. I left wishing there was more time to pick their brains and get deeper into the subject matter.

My favourite moment came as they were playing a promotional clip for Virgin. I looked away from the screen at Sir Richard Branson only to see him fish an orange out of a decorative glass vase, peel it on the desk and offer slices to Peter Aceto and moderator Amanda Lang. He may not have bungee-jumped or parachuted in to the lecture, but I found this little act to be extremely entertaining and in line with Sir Richard’s bold persona.

If you attended the event feel free to share your thoughts here as well.
