Business In India Is Booming

Posted: 14 Sep 2010 05:01 PM PDT

In the investment world, there’s often so much talk about China in the United States that the tremendous success in India gets short shrift. But business there is booming.

The world’s third-fastest growing economy is set to expand by 8.5% this year, the most in the past half-decade. Such rapid growth has compelled the central bank to lift interest rates four times in the past six months.

Compare that with the U.S. Federal Reserve, which has made clear it intends to keep rates low … [visit site to read more]

North American Commodity Update
Commodities – Energy

Crude Oil (LS Nymex) – $76.32 // -$0.39 // -0.51%
Splashy financial headlines would denote a highly active market Tuesday. And, indeed, a rise in US retail sales, growing concern over further Fed easing and a plunging dollar would encourage significant activity from specific markets. For the energy market, however, the day's news would do little for price action when it comes down to … [visit site to read more]

Forex Trading: AUDUSD Surges To 2 Year Highs.

How To Trade As The Stock Market Approaches Key Resistance

Posted: 14 Sep 2010 11:29 AM PDT

Here we are again, testing the key 1,130 target overhead resistance level for the third time in the last three months.

The simple question is "Will resistance hold or will it break?" and of course you can get a lot more complex than that, but I strongly advocate you think in those terms – as simply as possible – and plan for a scenario to trade if resistance breaks or if resistance holds.  That way you won't be caught off guard.

Let's see what I mean:
