TODAY'S SUMMARY

Right back into the red

23 September 2010

With the expiry of the Labour leadership ballot, John Harris in the Guardian prepares us for the resurgence of the Labour right. Andrew Grice says Clegg sells the yellows short by ditching the reds. Matthew Hancock writes in the Times that getting rid of the red ink is the only way back to growth. The Independent's Steve Richards says "Comrade" Cable does the Tories a favour.  Buttonwood in the Economist disagrees, saying if Vince is a communist, then so is Warren Buffett. Going Stateside, the Washington Post's, Dana Milbank bemoans the Democrat's interia in front of the red terror.
