The four day slide is technically over, but today was far from encouraging. Stocks were mixed with the Dow falling 1 point, the S&P gaining a fraction of a point and the Nasdaq rose 8 points.
Japan is the latest country to report a slowing recovery, with their GDP coming in at a pedestrian 0.1% increase. The country was overtaken by China as the second largest economy in the world.
